This movie is my religion.

Unironically this is the best movie with Nicholas Cage in it by far. Sure, he stars in everything and anything so his catalog goes from desperately bad movies to (controversial) really passable and even good ones.

This is a masterpiece, it is the best thing ever, it is magical, I love it, i love its style, it speaks to me and I am not bored a single second. John Travolta makes for an unlikely pairing with Nicholas in this and somehow makes this concoction of chaotic energy work in the best way possible.

Obviously, I am extremely biased in movies that:
A. are unhinged.
B. their core ideas I like.
C. their core idea is extreme in it of itself.

This is the trifecta. This is all of the above. Side characters like the bald guy are surely my honorable mentions and I do not care what anyone says about this movie I think it is culturally significant. It is just pure unadulterated fun.
