My god was this movie uncomfortable to sit through.

Fortunately, that was for all the right reasons. The performance from the lead actress is really strong, the movie's time period is masterfully depicted and become really invested into the lead's struggle. So invested in fact, that I wholeheartedly praise the movie that manages the impossible: It puts you, even fractionally, in the shoes of this woman experiencing these immense difficulties and desperation.

Cinematography as a whole was distinct and artful. It has an absolutely excellent buildup and an excruciating climax. Go see this if you are in the mood to get anxious.
